Direction for Preparation and Use: Your baby’s health depends on carefully following these preparation, use and storage instructions. Failure to follow these instructions could result in severe harm. Before preparing the infant formula, make sure to always wash your hands. Thoroughly wash bottle and feeding utensils in hot, soapy water before each use. Ask your baby’s doctor about the need to boil or sterilize water for formula and the proper preparation of bottle and feeding utensils. Do not use microwave to prepare or warm formula. Serious burns may occur. 1. Wash hands and surfaces. Pour desired amount of warm water (approx. 100 degrees F/40 degrees C) into a clean bottle. 2. Add powder to water in bottle. (See feeding chart below). 3. Cap bottle and shake well until powder is dissolved. Feed immediately and discard used formula within 1 hour. Use this feeding chart for proper amount of water and powder. To Make (Each scoop adds about 0.2 fl oz to the amount of prepared formula): 2 fl oz Bottle: 2 fl oz water; 1 unpacked level scoop (8.9 g) powder (use scoop enclosed to measure). 4 fl oz Bottle: 4 fl oz water; 2 unpacked level scoop (17.8 g) powder (use scoop enclosed to measure). 6 fl oz Bottle: 6 fl oz water; 3 unpacked level scoop (26.7 g) powder (use scoop enclosed to measure). 8 fl oz Bottle: 8 fl oz water; 4 unpacked level scoop (35.6 g) powder (use scoop enclosed to measure).Storage: Store unused prepared formula in the refrigerator at 15-40 degrees F (2-4 degrees C); use within 24 hours.
